Lorisian Food Intolerance Testing
The Lorisian Food Intolerance Test 150 plus analyses your blood to look for specific IgG antibody reactions to a wide variety of foods and drinks. Raised IgG antibody reactions show that a reaction to food or foods has occurred.
Food intolerances can be caused by a lack of digestive enzymes or a sensitivity to certain chemicals which are found in manufactured foods. Other types of food intolerance are a result of an immune response to foods and may have developed because of poor digestion, dysbiosis (an imbalance of the microbes in the gut), candidiasis (yeast infection), parasites, intestinal infections, a poorly balanced diet, alcohol consumption, use of antibiotics or the effects of drugs and medications. Each individual has their own unique reaction to food.
Unlike allergic reactions, these immune responses can be delayed up to 72 hours and vary in severity, affecting digestion, skin, joints, energy levels and even psychological health.
This test measures reactions to over 150 foods and drinks, including dairy products, types of seafood, various fruits, different meat and varieties of nuts.
Who is this test for?
As individuals, our reactions to foods and drinks vary a great deal. An ingredient which may cause problems for one person could be completely acceptable for another.
Discovering and understanding your own personal food and drink intolerances, and the affects they have on your health and wellbeing, is important to help you make the best possible choices to balance your diet.
